As the nation celebrates the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, citizens are invited to participate in a unique initiative called “RashtraGaan” to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence. This initiative, introduced by the Government of India as part of the celebrations, aims to unite people in singing the National Anthem together.
During his “Mann Ki Baat” address on 25th July 2021, Prime Minister urged citizens to contribute to this initiative by recording themselves singing the National Anthem. These recordings will be compiled and showcased live on 15th August, 2021.
Here are the steps to participate:
Step 1: Visit https://rashtragaan.in and proceed by entering your details including full name, country/region, and state.
Step 2: Stand and record your video as the National Anthem plays. Make sure your face is aligned with the screen.
Step 3: Once the recording is complete, you have the option to listen to it before uploading. If satisfied, proceed to upload the video.
Step 4: Upon successful upload, you will receive a certificate of participation. Download the certificate and share it with the mission’s Twitter handle (IndiainDRC) & Facebook (IndiainDRC) with the tag #rashtragaan.
